Easy Air Fryer Banana Bread Recipe:
The most vital component in good banana bread is an overripe banana. The overripe banana adds sweetness to the bread.
So, I usually buy a few extra bananas and let some of them ripen before baking.
If your bananas aren’t ripe enough for the recipe, you can bake them in an air fryer for 10 minutes at 150°C/300°F.
Now, let’s see the ingredients you need for the air fryer banana recipe,
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 tablespoon plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoon raisins (optional)
Instruction:
- Take a large bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder and whisk it together and set aside.
- Take another mixing bowl and mash the banana with the help of a fork or a spatula until smooth.
- Meanwhile, spray the oven-proof bowl with some oil and sprinkle some flour, and coat it well. This prevents the cake from sticking.
- In another mixing bowl add the butter and whisk it smooth, then add the sugar and beat well until light and fluffy.
- Now add the egg, and vanilla extract and beat well until combined. After that add yogurt and stir it and finally add the mashed bananas and mix.
- Now the wet ingredient is ready, add the dry ingredient and fold them until well combined leaving no lumps but don’t over mix it. Add the raisins/nuts and mix. Your air fryer banana bread batter is ready.
- Preheat your air fryer at 160C/325F for 3 minutes.
- Pour ½ of the batter in the oven-proof bowl if you’re using a small bowl. But my bowl was large enough so I poured all the batter at once.
- Cook the air fryer banana bread at 160C/325F for 30 minutes.
- To find out if the bread is done or not, insert a clean toothpick into the cake. If the toothpick comes out clean your bread is done.
- Remove the air fryer banana bread and be careful don’t burn yourself. Let the baking bowl cool at least 20 minutes before removing the bread.
- Slice it, serve it and enjoy.
